Situated just a few minutes' walk from the famous "Strip" in Albufeira, Apartment Richanna is the ideal place to have a really great holiday.

The complex is located on a hill top with panoramic views all round.

Apartment Richanna is on a 3-star tourist complex which has 2 outside swimming pools (plus a childrens' pool), a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna, pool, table tennis and pool tables, plus crazy golf, a tennis/football/basketball court and a children's playground so there are plenty of things to do for all ages. Then there's the bar (with Sky television - including sports), restaurant, supermarket, hairdresser and gift shop so pretty much everything you could want all on the one site - including views of the sea and countryside!

The complex has a shuttle bus for those who don't want to walk into the centre of Albufeira and the beach. The local bus also comes up to the complex.

Richanna itself comprises entrance hall leading into the main lounge/diner with a fully equipped kitchen - hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, juicer, iron, ironing board. There is no washing machine in the apartment but the complex boasts a laundry on the lower ground floor. The kitchen has been refurbished with a brand new hob, oven, fridge, sink and base units.

The bedroom has twin beds, air conditioning and a balcony with a sea view.

The living room also has air conditioning, two single beds, which double as settees during the day, plus a dining table and four chairs, satellite television, dvd player and a radio/cassette/cd player. A selection of books, games and dvds are in the apartment for your use.

There are balconies each have a table and chairs and are great places to sit and watch the world go by - or the children playing crazy golf!

The bathroom has been re-tiled and is looking very smart. It comprises, bath with shower, toilet, bidet, hand basin unit and large mirror.

Apartment Richanna caters for up to four people plus a baby. A cot and highchair can be hired if required.

For those of you looking for a long or short winter break, Apartment Richanna is available - complete with electric under blankets, and the longer you stay here in the winter the cheaper it becomes.

Those staying for longer periods in the winter will also have the luxury of a small (1 kg) washing machine.

If you decide to hire a car while you're here to investigate more of what the Algarve has to offer, you may like to drive up into the hills where you'll find the towns of Loulé, Alte, Messines and Silves, all of which are full of history and local charm. Just driving around the hills offers ample opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty of the countryside and the gentle pace of life existing away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and the tourist resorts.

Along the coast are the more popular tourist attractions - including Krazy World - which boasts a great swimming pool with a couple of shallow pools for very small children, extremely krazy golf, a zoo, pony rides, a children's funfair and those really great trampolines where you bounce sky high but are safely harnessed.

There are also a number of water parks, popular ones include Aqualand at Porches, and Slide n' Splash at Lagoa/Carvoeiro.

Zoomarine is near Albufeira and is another superb day out - and it's here that you can swim with the dolphins!
