Apartment Panorama is a brand new, south facing apartment and has some gorgeous views over the Old Town of Albufeira to the sea. The pictures here were taken from Panorama so are what you will actually see while you are here.

The apartment is fully air conditioned and comprises a double bedroom, a full bathroom and a wonderfully spacious lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen has all mod cons - full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, full cooker, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board and the dining table can seat 6.

Panorama has twin beds in the bedroom which can be joined to form a double bed when required. The sofa in the lounge divides into twin beds, and there is also a small sofa bed which could accommodate two children, so 6 people could sleep here comfortably.

There is a large balcony off the lounge with outside table, chair and a couple of loungers. A smaller balcony leads from the bedroom and this also has a small table and a couploe of chairs.

Apartment Panorama is in a private "closed" complex with secure underground parking, should you wish to hire a car while you are.

Panorama is close enough to the Old Town's restaurants and bars yet far enough away to offer peace and tranquility. In addition, Panorama is across the road from the larger Cerro Mar complex which has snack bars and a lovely restaurant and from where you can hire tennis courts, squash courts, bowling, spa, sauna, Turkish bath, gym and bicycles.

Just a couple of minutes from the complex are the steps down to the Old Town and its quaint shops and cobbled streets and, of course, the beach. The famous Fishermens Beach (Praia dos Pescadores) is just a few minutes further than the town beach - which is accessed through a tunnel!

With the beaches of Albufeira just down the road, this apartment is ideally situated for a budget family holiday, and as a special offer to celebrate the first year, there is no supplement for additional people so 4, 5 or even 6 people can come and its the same price.

If you do decide to hire a car while you're here to investigate more of what the Algarve has to offer, you may like to drive up into the hills where you'll find the towns of Loulé, Alte, Messines and Silves, all of which are full of history and local charm. Just driving around the hills offers ample opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty of the countryside and the gentle pace of life existing away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and the tourist resorts.

Along the coast are the more popular tourist attractions - including Krazy World - which boasts a great swimming pool with a couple of shallow pools for very small children, extremely krazy golf, a zoo, pony rides, a children's funfair and those really great trampolines where you bounce sky high but are safely harnessed.

There are also a number of water parks, popular ones include Aqualand just up the road at Porches, and Slide n' Splash at Lagoa/Carvoeiro.

Zoomarine at Albufeira is another superb day out - and it's here that you can swim with the dolphins!
