Ocean View is a brand new (2008) apartment in Armacao de Pera. It can be rented as either a 2-bedroom or a 3-bedroom apartment and can comfortably sleep a total of 9 people (plus the odd cot or two!).

With lovely sea views from the apartment balcony and the recreation and pool area on the roof, this is a fantastic apartment for both summer and winter holidays.

The apartment is on the fifth (top) floor and comprises entrance hall with toilet/cloakroom, kitchen/diner, lounge, twin bedroom with ensuite shower/wc, large double bedroom, with full ensuite bathroom, TV lounge, third bedroom, and third bathroom (shower/wc). With an L-shaped balcony facing the sea this is a wonderful aprtment.

Ocean View has a spacious kitchen/diner with patio doors to the balcony. The table extends and has 8 chairs.

The second bedroom is off to the left of the dining room - take a look at the floor plan for a better idea of the layout. Here there are two single beds and a fitted wardrobe with drawers and plenty of hanging space. Leading off this bedroom is a shower/wc. Patio doors lead from the bedroom onto the balcony.

The other side of the dining room is the lounge and leading from that is the master suite.

The master bedroom at Ocean View again has built-in wardrobes, a double bed with bedside cabinets, and a desk/dressing table. The bedroom also has a small double sofa bed chair if you have a child you'd prefer to sleep with you. Again there are patio doors leading onto the balcony.

Ensuite is a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath, double vanity unit, toilet and bidet.

Going back into the lounge - this is an intriguing room! It has a 37 inch LCD TV on the wall with surround speakers. Opposite the TV is a sofa which opens into a double bed. At this same end of the lounge is the laundry room and bathroom. The laundry has a basin and washing machine and the bathroom is a shower/wc.

The other end of the lounge, by the patio doors to the balcony, is another sofa - this one opening into two single beds. This half of the room can be curtained off at night to divide the room into two, either or both of which can be used as bedrooms. The floor plan should hopefully clarify this.

The spacous, L-shaped balcony has two tables plus eight chairs and a barbeque - and a lovely sea view!

Ocean View has air conditioning in all rooms and has an internet connection available to clients. We have a sky digi box providing UK freeview channels, and a DVD player allowing those music lovers among you to put your CDs through the home cinema speakers.

Ocean View is, as you can see, virtually on the sea front and is within a minute or two of shops and restaurants, which means that you don't have to hire a car for your holiday - and even if you'd like to go to the water parks, there are coaches going every day.

So you'll not need to hire a car for your holiday here, but should you wish to do so we can assist with this - or with a taxi to/from the airport. Should you decide to rent a car, the apartment has an alloted parking space in the underground garage.

The only reason you might want a car is if you wish to explore the Algarve - and then you could even get coach/jeep trips to do this rather than have the bother of a car.

At Ocean View all bed linen and household towels are provided but we do ask you to bring your own swimming/beach towels.

If you do decide to hire a car while you're here to investigate more of what the Algarve has to offer, you may like to drive up into the hills where you'll find the towns of Loulé, Alte, Messines and Silves, Paderne, all of which are full of history and local charm. Just driving around the hills offers ample opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty of the countryside and the gentle pace of life existing away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and the tourist resorts.

Along the coast are the more popular tourist attractions - including Krazy World - which boasts a great swimming pool with a couple of shallow pools for very small children, extremely krazy golf, a zoo, pony rides, a children's funfair and those really great trampolines where you bounce sky high but are safely harnessed.

There are also a number of water parks, popular ones include Aqualand just up the road at Porches, and Slide n' Splash at Lagoa/Carvoeiro.

Zoomarine at Albufeira is another superb day out - and it's here that you can swim with the dolphins!

If you fancy a walking or cycling tour this can be organised through Activity Algarve, who will collect and return you to your accommodation. They also arrange buggy safaris, quad bike tours, dolphin watching, sea fishing and horse riding - so plenty for you to consider if you feel like doing something other than sunbathing and swimming!
