Casa Gassa

Casa Gassa is a beautiful cottage in the hills just 15 minutes or so from the coast at Albufeira.

Although in the grounds of the owner's cottage, you can be blissfully unaware of anyone else - unless the owners' dog comes calling, but he is about the most gentle dog I have ever come across.

Entrance to the cottage is directly into the spacious, well designed lounge/kitchen/diner. Although the cottage is designed for just two people, there is plenty of space to invite friends for dinner.

Having said "two people", the sofa in the lounge does open out into a comfortable double bed, so the cottage can accommodate up to 4 people.

Casa Gassa also has a large shower/wc and a lovely large bedroom with a double bed.

Outside the views across the hills are spectacular and the garden and plants around the cottage are beautiful and restful.

Next to Casa Gassa is a swimming/splash pool. It is not very wide or long but it is almost 2 metres deep! It is untreated spring water which is changed often so kept as fresh as possible. Much appreciated by guests staying during the summer months!

This is also a wonderful cottage within which to spend time during the winter. The price is the same throughout the year and includes all water, electricity and gas including gas central heating. There is also a special price available if you stay more than 3 weeks - this applies throughout the year.

The owner, who speaks, English, French, German and Portuguese, is available should help or translation be required but otherwise you're not likely to know there is anyone around!

This is a very lovely cottage in a beautifully peaceful and serene part of the Algarve. Just the place to come to get away from a busy life.
