This two bedroomed apartment is on the outskirts of the beautiful historical town of Lagos. Local buses, two minutes walk from the apartment, take you into the town, or it is just a ten minute gentle walk.

Lagos was where Henry the Navigator had his ships built during Portugal's most illustrious period, the 15th-century. Today its seafaring traditions are maintained in a modern marina frequented by luxury boats, the entrance of which is guarded by the little Forte da Porta da Bandeira opposite a restored section of the ancient town wall.

The centre of Lagos is largely pedestrianised and therefore walking is free and easy whether browsing the shops or sitting in the many outside cafes in the squares.

Close to the apartment are several beautiful beaches such as Porto de Mos (1000m) ten minutes walk away, Praia da Dona Ana (1500m) and Ponta da Piedade (2000m) with its spectacular rock formation and coves.

Deemar is a self contained apartment, located on the first floor and reached by a single private marble staircase.

The accommodation comprises:- A spacious lounge with dining area, two sofas, one of which can be used as additional sleeping for two people, TV and large sunny balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The large fully fitted breakfast kitchen has a cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave oven.

The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and balcony overlooking the swimming pool and gardens.

Bedroom two has twin beds and an ensuite shower/wc.

The apartment has a second bathroom fully fitted with toilet, handwash basin, and bath.

The nearby swimming pool also has a gym, sauna and jacuzzi. These facilities are part of a privately owned and operated health club which open to non-members on a daily or weekly basis - details upon request.

This swimming pool is 16m x 8m pool and is at times heated. It also has a wonderful retracting roof which is sometimes used to cover part of the pool when the sun is particularly hot.

There is an outside pool bar where you can relax after swimming or training, together with gardens, terrace and sun loungers.

Golf, tennis, squash, deep sea fishing, diving, water sports, boat trips and horse riding are all available close by.

And while you're here don't miss out on a boat trip to the grottos at Ponte da Piedade - best I've ever seen!
