Welcome to Apartment Abelha

Abelha is a lovely, fresh, 1-bedroom apartment at Quinta dos Brejos, Albufeira.

Situated on the top (first) floor opposite one of the most beautiful properties in the whole of Albufeira, this delightful apartment starts with the entrance hall. Leading off to the left is a full bathroom. Turning to the right, and with the view of the fantastic property over the road, is the bedroom, which has twin beds, dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space.

Opposite the bedroom is the good sized lounge diner, comprising dining table and four chairs, sofa with a bed beneath, television and dvd player.

The sofa itself can also be made into two single beds, providing beds for 4 people.

A well kitted out kitchen leads off the lounge - washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, iron, ironing board - all mod cons!

Leading from the lounge is a good sized balcony with table and chairs.

Outside the front door is a small terraced area enabling you to sit in the sun whichever side of the apartment is in - or to stay in the shade if that's your preference. There is plenty of grass for children to play on around the apartments.

To answer the oft asked question - yes the apartment does just have a sea view - between a couple of buildings in front!

The condominium has an enclosed swimming pool area about 20/30 seconds' walk from the apartment. In the picture of the condominium road, I was standing outside the front door - the building behind the two blue road signs is the entrance to the swimming pool area.

There are a good number of sun loungers around the pools - one for smaller children plus the "adult" pool. With both terrace and grassed areas around the pool there's plenty of space for the children to play safely while the adults sun bathe and swim.

There is a shaded car park next to the apartment as well as parking areas along the condominium roads.

Although in Albufeira, a better description would be "at" Albufeira. This apartment is on the outer rim. It is very close to the Municipal Bus Station and also within walking distance of some shops and cafes, but for the most part you may prefer to use a car to get to the main parts of the city. To walk to "The Strip" where there is a wide choice of restaurants and nightlife, would take about 15 minutes or so. To get down to the beach would be nearer half an hour.

Abelha is in a peaceful location yet within the bounds of Albufeira with all the highlights and highlife that this brings. All in all it is a great place to come for your holiday and as the price is lower that city centre apartments, you'll have more to spend on your enjoyment.

Albufeira itself is well situated to visit other parts of the Algarve - both the coastal areas and the countryside.

If you do decide to hire a car while you're here to investigate more of what the Algarve has to offer, you may like to drive up into the hills where you'll find the towns of Loulé, Alte, Messines and Silves, all of which are full of history and local charm. Just driving around the hills offers ample opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty of the countryside and the gentle pace of life existing away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and the tourist resorts.

Along the coast are the more popular tourist attractions - including Krazy World - which boasts a great swimming pool with a couple of shallow pools for very small children, extremely krazy golf, a zoo, pony rides, a children's funfair and those really great trampolines where you bounce sky high but are safely harnessed.

There are also a number of water parks, popular ones include Aqualand at Porches, and Slide n' Splash at Lagoa/Carvoeiro.

Zoomarine is near Albufeira and is another superb day out - and it's here that you can swim with the dolphins!
